Strength Exercises – are an essential part of any activity regimen and they are particularly important for seniors. Strength conditioning helps build muscle and bone mass, allowing you improved range of motion and endurance. Our fitness trainer will work with you on strength exercises that may include light weight or resistance training.
Aerobic Activities - works to raise your heart rate. It will help to build stamina and endurance, as well as burn calories and fat. It is recommended that seniors try to engage in at least 40 minutes of moderate aerobic exercise. We teach you low impact exercises that won’t put to much stress on your bones or joints.
Flexibility Exercises- help to improve overall body movement and balance. It also helps to protect against falls as well as muscle and joint injuries. We will teach you simple stretching exercises to help your flexibility with aerobic exercise routines.
